Hi! I’m a :
- Writer
- Teacher
- Researcher
- Avocational archaeologist
I began the Kiawah Island History Project in December 2020, while I was in graduate school at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.

Besides this project, I have over ten years of experience in education, public history, research and policymaking. I’ve designed instructional plans for New York City public schools, built and led research teams, and created data-driven programs for high school credit recovery and postsecondary development.
My specialties include designing creative solutions to complex problems, teaching others to implement new tools and strategies, and building group consensus around a shared collective vision.
